MILS for schools
Every student has his/her own way of learning and every teacher has his/her own way of teaching. A good understanding of each other's methods and needs leads to a greater understanding of each other and a more pleasant learning environment.
For schools, there are many possible applications of the MILS method. For example, it is used by many schools to support students who do not reach the desired level and therefore fall behind at school. A completely different example is that we organize workshops for teachers, in which they become acquainted with their own MILS profile. This is a great start for working with the MILS method in a school.
The MILS analysis is widely used in the upper grades of primary school and in secondary schools. In primary schools, students are still completely open to the information they gain from the MILS method. In addition to their own most effective learning strategies, they also gain insight into the great diversity of learning preferences that exist in their class.
The MILS method is also used very successfully in all classes of secondary schools. Research has shown that using the MILS method greatly reduces the number of students repeating a level and can prevent dropouts. The pass rate for the final exam also increased.
